Spine lamps

There are two of these lamps (Each picture except for the detail is a different lamp).
They were commissioned by my tatto artist as a trade for the second half of my tattoo. I've still got some minor things to touch up on these guys but for the most part they're pretty close to being done. They've probably got about 80-100 hours in them between the two of them.

Materials: Metal, latex, epoxy, string, tissue paper, yarn, lightbulb and fixture and cord...

I put in that picture with me in it for scale... but these guys stick out about 3-4 feet from the wall and I'd guess are about 2 feet in height...

I'm quite pleased with how they ended up turning out. There were quite a few designs that we went over. Especially for the lamp part. These puppies are gonna look slick in his living room.
